AMANDA

To me, ‘fearlessly feminine’ means to walk in the path of my power. By that, I mean to fully see, hear and understand myself and my story. To own it and to wear it, permanently, as a badge of honour. To respect myself so hard that pleasing people becomes a thing of the distant past. To be myself and let the world catch up. To give ABSOLUTLEY NO FUCKS about what other people think – “Don’t fuck with me and my fearlessly feminine energy.” To show up emotionally, and say exactly how I feel in every single moment of existence. And know, and trust, that who I am and where I am is the truest, most powerful version of myself.

I see ‘fearlessly feminine’ as a frequency, a vibration we all need to move through to become the most beautiful, powerful version of ourselves.

‘AMANDA TIME’ IS WHAT FILLS MY CUP

Personally, to connect with my feminine energy, I need to make space for that energy to flow in - my body, my heart, and my mind are my biggest priority. I need to do something for myself. Whether it’s a yoga or pilates class, going to my favourite coffee shop for a blueberry muffin, going for a nature walk, or wearing something that makes me feel beautiful and powerful, I MUST do something that puts myself before everything and everyone else. That, to me, is the only way to connect with myself and fuel my feminine energy.

EMOTIONS SIGNPOST THE THINGS WE NEED AND THE THINGS THAT MATTER TO US

In business, I’m honestly not one to hold myself to strict routines or rituals. But, I have honed the skill of listening to myself and I deeply believe that this skill helps me to pause and put myself before my business, for the success of my business.

I do this by journaling. If I struggle to get the words out I simply begin with asking myself a question: ‘How are you feeling today?’ Then I follow that question up with: ‘Why are you feeling this way?’

I ask these questions because our emotions are signposts to the things we need and the things that matter to us in that moment of time. When we’re feeling low, heavy, exhausted and sad, it means that something’s not working for us; something’s misaligned. It’s a sign that we need our attention, we need our care, we need our love.

Don’t get me wrong, anyone that knows me well knows that I am, and will always be, on a mission to make a meaningful difference in the world. But it’s critical not to lose myself in the process.

I CAN’T FULFIL MY PURPOSE IF I’M NOT CARING FOR MYSELF

It’s taken me a really long time to learn that I can’t fulfil my mission, my purpose, my calling, if I’m not nurturing and caring for myself - the one leading the way. I also have my first baby on the way, due in 4 weeks (cue scared and excited scream). I’m excited for this next chapter as a mama. I have a BIG feeling that this little one is going to teach me so much about what it means to be feminine, and how powerful my natural gifts are.
